I'm trying to stay away from conspiratorial thinking, but it's getting more and more difficult to understand the economic numbers that we're getting.

The AI buildout spending has been keeping us afloat for about six months now, but after analyzing this stuff as a profession for a couple of decades, I can't see how the numbers are reflective of what's happening.

I very much hope I'm wrong.
