Nothing would surprise me in this case. The democrats are desperate to get Trump in jail/prison any which way they can, and Trump will appeal as high as necessary to get that bullshit conviction reversed. And that progressive liberal judge ought to be removed from the bench, although that maybe unlikely cuz the only way to do that is via an impeachment and we all know the democrats will never support that.

As for a constitutional crisis, I don't think so. What the democrats are doing is immoral, disgraceful, and dishonorable, but I'm not seeing anything as unconstitutional. Nor is there anything that is unlawful or illegal as far as I can tell.
