Can we stop and think for a minute. The Alien Enemies Act was one of four bills passed that are called the Alien and Sedition Acts of 1798. It is the only one of thosea acts still on the books, the rest have been repealed. And it was the Alien Enemies Act that allowed the incarceration of the Japanese during WWII. Complete false equivalency. You are comparing the incarceration of Japanese American citizens to camps during a time of war in case any of these were working as enemy agents. Why aren't they doing this now, and why weren't they doing it when Trump was in office?

I mean, what they keep saying is that staying in the country past your visa expiration date is not a crime, it's only a civil offense but if there are known individuals committing crimes, especially violent crimes, in the U.S. why don't they deport them?

The last time I asked this question I was told that our justice system instead of deporting them, incarcerates them here in the U.S. to serve out whatever their sentence is and THEN they deport them.

It makes you think that somebody is getting paid for every warm body that enters the system right?
