He never did as that was taken out of context and sure the guy's an asshole, but the country wasn't nearly as chaotic as it is now being underneath the Biden/Harris Administration. I think we have enough respect for each other at this point to agree to disagree now though.

And I don't think he is an asshole. There are too many really good people who love him and call him friend. He's a hard assed street fighter from Queens and on the A-list with Democrats everywhere until he announced his Presidency on the GOP ticket.

So yes he is a blunt New Yorker, sometimes arrogant, sometimes profane, sometimes petulant, sometimes inappropriate, but he has a brilliant ability to see a problem, courage to use whatever trial and error is necessary to find a solution/fix for the problem, and skill set to get it done. And he focused pretty much exclusively on what is best for America and all Americans, not just special interest groups.

His policies allowed most Americans who were working two or more part time jobs with no benefits to be able to go to work at good full time jobs. All demographics saw their net worth increase noticeably and many of the hardcore unemployed found good work. Family incomes increased by thousands. Illegal migration had slowed to a trickle. Economic and business confidence was at an all time high.

Our leftists friends didn't know about all this because the dishonest, partisan leftwing media they watch and read did not and will not report it. They instead repeat the dishonest talking points the talking heads on those media sources wanted them to repeat.

By contrast to Trump's accomplishments, the large lion's share of all the jobs Obama added in eight years were part time jobs with few if any benefits, family incomes declined, the economy was stagnant and there was little optimism among the people.

Like you I hope Trump stays on message of what he wants to do, what he wants for America and Americans and doesn't do a lot of complaining about stolen elections and such which I think is a turn off for many.

Earlier this month, a drag queen story time in California was interrupted by the Proud Boys, an extremist hate group. Members of the group stormed the event and yelled homophobic and transphobic slurs. And Last weekend, members of the Proud Boys protested a drag queen story time at a library in Nevada. Parents and children ran into the building after a man allegedly pulled out a gun.

The sudden backlash to previously uncontroversial events didn’t come out of nowhere. In the last few months, the conservative movement has doubled down on its attacks on queer people. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) revoked Disney World’s special tax status after the corporation released a statement in opposition to the state’s “Don’t Say Gay” bill, which is now law and restricts Florida teachers from talking about sexual orientation and gender in the classroom.

In Texas, Gov. Greg Abbott (R) ordered the state’s child protective services to investigate the parents of transgender children, claiming that getting their children’s gender-affirming care is tantamount to abuse.
Republican leaders and activists are cloaking their homophobia and transphobia in concern for children. But behind every “Won’t somebody think of the kids?” wail is the real motivation: the desire to control and enforce strict gender roles.

THEN, they elect one, AND keep IT in office.
