How much will prices go up as a result? Construction? Agriculture? Service Industries? (And isn't that called inflation?)

Labor goes down. Replacement labor costs more. * * OR * * Labor goes down, goods and services become less available, prices increase on what is available. * * OR * * A mixture of both.

Looking at only one side of the equation is dangerous. (IIRC: Georgia and Florida experimented with this - to a degree. They found it had a heavy impact on the State economy.)

It goes back to the addage: "Watch what you ask for, you just might get it."

The obvious solution is that the wages Trump is paying are too low. If workers can't afford housing on the wages you're paying, time to increase the wages. If you have to import people who will work for less, you're destroying your own economy to help the wealthy.

Americans do not want to do laundry washing tons of sheets daily.

Most of all Americans do not want to be told what to do.
