Donald Trump Can't Find Enough Americans to Work at Mar-a-Lago

/---/ Why don't you move to Palm Springs, Florida, and apply for a job? I'll even give you a reference.
You can stay here for only $2,250+/mo

AFFORARDABLE HOUSING at Rex Ave Lake Worth, FL 33461

2beds
2baths
1,000 sq feet.
It's a short 6.4-mile walk each way to work every day.

The work visa low wage earners are usually brought into Florida and a house is rented by who ever have brought them in and as many as 20 live in one house. Happens quite often down here.

With all of the activist DA's out there like Jack Smith keeping Trump employees in the crosshairs of Fake Indictments, its tough for the Trumpster to hire everyone he might want.

Why aren't those employers hiring americans?
Why don't American's want to work in the service industry? Around where I am located many are working fast food jobs. One large franchise owner one year brought in many from Russia, put about 15 to 20 in a house and gave them bikes to ride to work. That same franchise owner during the pandemic and up until today has many Haitians here.

Several years ago there was a business near Panama City that made millions bringing in low skilled workers.

I know if you're not from one of the gulf states that are close to the gulf it's hard to understand.

Americans do not want to clean toilets.
Americans do not want to make 50+ beds per day.
Americans do not want to wash a whole lot of dishes.
Americans do not want to farm.
Americans do not want to take out the trash.
Americans do not want to do laundry washing tons of sheets daily.
Americans do not want to clean 50+ dirty bath tubs every day.

Most of all Americans do not want to be told what to do.
If we stop giving free money to able bodied Americans on welfare some of them will have to clean toilets

And don't forget his long history of stiffing vendors.

No doubt the cult is fine with that too, those vendors don't need the money!

Trump doesn't stiff vendors at all.

But if he contracts with someone and they don't follow through as expected, he isn't shy about complaining, not paying, and negotiating a discount.

/----/ Thank you. I live near a resort town, and the hotels have the same problem. But TDS librtards think it's a non-issue everywhere in the country except Mar-A-Lago. Orange Man Bad is the only explanation.

I agree that he should hire Americans first if they want the job, but being these are visa holders, they are not here illegally, so while it is a bit hypocritical of him to hire them, no laws appear to be being broken.

So you're OK with abusing the intent of the law, and helpless visa workers, because it's not illegal. Slavery wasn't illegal. Does that make it right or moral????

The problem for American workers is that so many of the issues the workers are facing are the result of this kind of thinking. If it's not illegal, it's OK.

"Wage theft" by employers is the biggest crime in America. People not getting paid for the work they did, in good faith. And it's not even illegal. If YOU steal from employer, you will be arrested. If your employer steals from you, it's not even against the law.

Always remember that what the NAZI's did to the Jews, and others in the concentration camps, was also completely legal. They passed laws legalizing the "final solution". You can legalize anything, but it doesn't make it moral or right.

/---/ Same on the east end of Long Island.

And like clockwork, here comes another Never-Trumper cockroach crawling out of the woodwork to lie. Trump does not stiff vendors, he only stiffs contractors who do not do the work and get it done on his agreed timetable to his level of satisfaction, and why should he? If you want paid, do what you were paid for.

But that is no worry to you, you'll never offer any service anyone would want to pay for much less a guy like Trump.

Do you live here? There sure the **** is.

No there isn't. You said H1B, those are Visa's for high education, high skill jobs such as Technology, Engineering, Doctors, etc.

H2B is the low skill, low education service industry.

There is a limited pool of 64,716 (2024) visa's for all 50 states and Territories to draw from. To get H2B status you have to apply with specifics on the job, location, pay, and duration with a max of 1 year.

The obvious solution is that the wages Trump is paying are too low. If workers can't afford housing on the wages you're paying, time to increase the wages. If you have to import people who will work for less, you're destroying your own economy to help the wealthy.

It all comes down to NOBODY can live on $7.50 per hour. You cannot sustain your economy when 80% of the wealth is owned by the top 10% of wealthy individuals and corporations.

H1 or H2 work visa's, one skilled and one unskilled. So I fucked up on the number of the visa.

Mininum wage is quite a bit more than $7.50 in Florida but still one person couldn't afford to rent a house or apartment for that. I would imagine many are staying in one house.

This a Tag team TDS Rant thread.

Fake ass outrage all over the place from a group that wants open bordets.

I doubt if that will make the welfare recipients clean toilets as you say.

What race receives the most welfare benefits?
The majority of recipients were white (43 percent), followed by Hispanic (26 percent), and Black (23 percent).Feb 28, 2024

Trump has been stiffing vendors since he went into business. After the project is completed and certified by the architect and the local Building Inspectors, Trump THEN claims their work is "defective" or substandard, and refuses to pay their final holdback.

It's part of his scam. In Atlantic City, he would approach mid-level subtrades and offer them a shot at the "big time" working on his casinos, knowing that 15% of the contract is always held back until completion. All of the subtrades' profit are tied up in that final holdback. All of their prior payments have simply covered materials and labour. There were bankruptcies and suicides in Atlantic City because of his stiffing the subtrades.
