despite what the left claims Trump is no friend or stooge of Russia .. he was tough on Russia in his 1st term and he'll be tougher on his 2nd term .. remember ..Trump shut down Nord Stream 2 ... Biden opened it back up ..

Authorized the killing of Russian mercenaries in Syria (there with the full approval of Putin).

i see, does Trump have a victory 🇺🇦 plan ?

I think trump wants to end the war but not on putin’s terms
agree on this, Moscow 🇸🇦 🇷🇺 imperialists WANT WAY TOO MUCH ...

Donald Trump wants to cut global oil prices in half ( It´s less than 30 $ US for Urals )
... if he does so , Moscow 🇸🇦🇷🇺empire won´t survive Trump´s 4 years in the office ...

Putin realizes that his friend in China is going to be taking continued immense heat as the U.S.looks.to reign him in and the Chinese economy remains sluggish. I did hear of a $1.4T stimulus in China but who knows if that is true or not? with the possibility if lower oil prices,.Putin may not generate the same revenue he used to. Everyone is tired of this war. There should be a reasomable deal available after two + years

If it were up to me I would offer a compromise that Putin can accept that lets him save face

He would withdraw from Ukraine territory in exchange for keeping Ukraine neutral and out of NATO

Which he might agree to since the war is bankrupting his country

who is lying ?

🇷🇺 Peskov denied the WP reports about a telephone conversation between Putin and Trump. The Kremlin called these reports "pure fiction." There are no specific plans for contacts between Putin and Trump yet, Peskov added.

Uh, ok

What is your point?

Yes, Biden opened it up at the behest of Germany, who Trump was trying to protect from their own stupidity. They learned, but only after it was too late. Liberals are always 2 steps behind, no matter the nationality.

he was tough on Russia in his 1st term
But was he?

37 times Trump was soft on Russia

Laughable. Germany, and the rest of the EU countries, don't need help from an advocate of climate change.

Fast-forward 2 years and the landscape of EU energy imports has changed significantly. Although our total gas demand stood at around 400 billion cubic meters (bcm) per year before the war, with only about 10% of it covered by domestic production, the 150 bcm of natural gas (both LNG and pipeline) imported to the EU from Russia in 2021 was nearly halved (to 80 bcm) in 2022 and fell by a similar share (to 43 bcm) in 2023. In short, EU dependence on Russian gas fell from 45% in 2021, to only 15% in 2023.

This has been achieved in no small part thanks to the European Commission’s decisive REPowerEU plan, launched in May 2022, in direct response to Russia’s callous actions. It aims to bolster Europe’s energy security by saving energy, accelerating the clean energy transition, and diversifying the sources of our energy imports.

In the long run, EU energy security will be achieved by replacing imported fossil fuels with domestically produced renewable energy and improving energy efficiency – with the EU aiming to become the world’s first climate neutral continent by 2050. However, while the share of renewables in EU energy consumption is on the rise and more than doubled from 2004 to 2022, natural gas still represents about a quarter of EU energy consumption. And the EU is still heavily reliant on external suppliers for this fuel. This is why the diversification of gas supplies and working with reliable partners have a vital role to play in ensuring security of supply for European citizens, businesses and essential services, such as hospitals, in the short to medium term, until we reach our goal of full decarbonisation.
