Sculpting isn't reliant on a paintbrush and is still art, and likewise the tool is not the determining factor. The problem a lot of people have with AI art is that even with its flaws, it is attempting to achieve perfection and can provide a better result more consistently. Not to mention, it seeks to appeal to the person viewing it and that is in no way restricted to your desires or interpretation of art.
