NATO made a lot of sense ... in the 1950s and 1960s. I'm not so sure it makes sense now. Some of the countries in the alliance seem at odds with the rest of them. It's gotten too big and too sloppy. And, of course, has taken the United States for a financial ride which Trump has attempted to repair ... just like all the other shit the Deep State clowns have left to him to fix.It was largely meaningless.
War? It’s your fuhrer who is yelling about starting a war
Alliances?
NATO, the UN, and a host of other organization have served us well, allowing to extend a lot of soft power, raising the standard of living on the entire planet, and preventing a major war for over half a century,
I realize folks like you can’t put your head around world leadership, and would rather retreat into the 19th century and pretent the U S is a planet, not just a country.
It was unrealistic when your grandparents were listening to Father Couglin and Lindberg on the radio, and it’s short sighted and parochial to think that way now.
Trump, of course, is no "fuhrer". That's the hyperbole and vitriol of a committed Leftist such as yourself who sneers at anybody who rocks the giant ship called the Status Quo. Such childishness ... like accusing my grandparents of listening to Father Coughlin. **** you, pal
