Because this article has so many different perspectives than can be discussed that I won't open with any particular one other than to point out that the concept of diversity, equity, and inclusion is seriously misunderstood. Now this misconception has become government policy. What's worse is that they're using something that they don't understand in an automated rule that they then used to scrub their websites of "all things DEI related".

It's never a good idea to replace people who understand how things work and the data that represents that goes on within a department, agency or anything else actually, with people who can't be bothered to LEARN the systems and data. When you do, these are the kind of things we end up with.

In fact, it is not misunderstood at all. That is the problem that the left has with this entire issue.
