DOGE Announces Another $2B in Savings—You Won’t Believe What They Found

25 Aug 2025 ~~ By Chase Jennings

If you thought the Trump Administration was finished making cuts to government spending, think again. No other institution on earth can spend money like the U.S. government—the effort by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to get spending under control and cut waste has never happened on this level before. On Sunday, the DOGE team announced another round of major cuts, nearly $2B worth:

~Snip~
This comes after Congress used its rescissions authority to end taxpayer funding for both NPR and PBS. The clear bias by both networks led to these cuts, something that conservatives had been pushing for decades—another accomplishment reaching the finish line by the effort of Congress and the White House. RedState covered the cuts extensively. The New York Post put it this way at the time of the announcement:
For President Trump and his administration, the focus on reducing government spending is a win for all of us—even if the left refuses to admit it. DOGE is not done. While President Trump and Elon Musk’s relationship is strained at the moment, the work that both of them believe in continues through the Department of Government Efficiency.

Commentary:
The entire federal government is rife with such waste and fraud. What needs to happen is for the entire federal budget to be sunset, so that every spending item has to be re-debated and revetted. Otherwise this will never end.
It is the Uniparty Congress that been stealing our tax money then redistributes it. This is not difficult.
We need more cuts of the obvious boondoggling of federal (i.e. taxpayers) money. We need a partial refund for now. And pay down of the debt.
