18 states are already poised to file suit against the Trump administration for ending birthright citizenship. How do Americans win when invaders are permitted to run baby factories on our soil that taxpayers are forced to fund?

I have no problem with that executive order. Most nations do not observe purely birthright citizenship. For example, countries like Germany and France offer citizenship to children born on their soil only if their parents meet certain residency or legal status requirements.

I'm american born to american citizens...can legal citizens be deported?

The last big supreme court case on this was back in the late 1890's. At that point illegal immigration as we know it now wasn't a thing.

This is going to have to be sorted out by the Courts, and if we don't get what we want, Amendment time.

Well, BL, I dont remember the executive having the authority to change the legalize of interpreted amendments. Thats why he is getting sued. Abuse of power.
Sure, I want this to end, but in the right way. Not an authoritarian way.
But im keeping it in my mind this is only to bring it to the SC to get a new "interpretation" And even if, there has to be better ways to do it? IDK

The better way is amending the constitution to limit birthright citizenship to children of citizens, and maybe legal residents.

What is it, you think you want, and why?

Well, yeah. But I mean for the SC to look at it. You cant just challenge it, I dont think.

As an amendment?

Limit birthright citizenship to the children of citizens and maybe legal residents.
This is quicker. The job done immediately. But, feel free to write your congressman, suggesting an Amendment, needing 3/4 of both houses and 2/3 of the states to sign off on it.

The Left HATES America and Western Civilization. They have been indoctrinated to believe the Cultural Marxist belief that the West deserves to be destroyed because of past colonialism. The Left's cultists think they will create a utopia on Earth from the ashes.

There is no abuse of power when the EO clearly benefits real Americans….no legit American would/could see it as an abuse of power anyway.
Like me, obviously the Trump team believes the 14th has been grossly misinterpreted and like you said this is a surefire way to get the case in front of SCOTUS.
How cool would it be to a get a retroactive ruling and send home ALL anchor babies going way back.
I’m not sure this is a case Libs want to pursue, they should probably let the EO stand without resistance.

So opinions on a certain thing determine whether the govt is abusing their powers or not? Not what power they actually have lolz
