Does "G-d" have a name? If so, who gave it to him? If he gave it to himself, why should it not be spoken or written? Why is it OK to call him King of the Universe but not God? Can someone explain this?

.

My church calls him God all the time.

As far as I can tell, the name He gave Himself is "I Am".

Yeah, the magic book says that but it's just a mortal's opinion.

He could be called Carl so far as anyone really knows. :dunno:

Mr. Devine has a nice ring to it. No mistaking that.

51. Jehovah or Yahweh

Jesus being the Great I AM whose name was also Jehovah. See Exodus 6:2-3, Exodus 3:14, John 8:56-59
