It is difficult to believe climate change due to humans because other nations providing Americans, we cheap products are not clean energy intensive. China and India are building coal plants still. Progressives who are in the forefront of anything that is not from the old ways, are living on the oceans and buying properties on the oceans. We have endless dates of the end of the world over this. We have 8 billion people in the world. A century ago, we had 1 billion people. We have a lot of more people living on barrier islands or near it and in flood zones than before. We also have the same in tornado potential areas. So, 2030 is the next end of the world. Around 1970, the then climate change people said Florida would be half under water with a few decades. A TV show even showed Florida on a map that was half the size or so. Sea quest starring Roy Scheider. I can agree that barrier island can lose some of their coastline. Yet we have built as far up as we could in most areas, and some are affected from normal erosion, continental drift. perhaps deconstructing the structures closest to the sand would be mor prudent and not letting the taxpayer pay for any damages to structures is advisable.
