Does anyone like syrup and butter on their cornbread?

I just made some cornbread and wow! I do like to add butter and syrup to mine. What do you like with your cornbread?

Yummmmmy! I like sweet cornbread for sure, add sugar or honey...

I guess you make your cornbread from scratch. I use the Jiffy mix and that's plenty sweet for me.

so easy---mix is not necessary

Sometimes, but mostly not. I really like to taste the base food. I want to savor the corn bread.

A similar example for me is French Toast. I sometimes like maple syrup and other extras on it, but mostly eat it plain. I want to savor the bread and egg.
