I read somewhere online that Israel sent a delegate to try to bring CKirk back into the fold and that he allegedly didn't want any parts of it at least in part because they wanted him to "de-platform" Tucker Carlson. Since I didn't follow any of the involved parties, I just surmised that Carlson may have been complaining about all of the financial support the U.S. provides to Israel.

While this is certainly not enough information for me to say that he's anti-Jewish, if the articles are correct, he was doing something that caught the attention of Israel that they felt a need to attempt to correct.

I haven't seen the podcast, but it is not a ridiculous proposition that if Churchill had come to terms with Hitler, the holocaust might have been prevented.

Thank you for the response. That is an interesting idea.

My main point was that simply hosting a podcast who says that Churchill was the main villain of World War II ….is not anti-Jewish. And Daryl Cooper is also not a holocaust denier.

And since when is it controversial for a journalist to interview literally anyone they want to. Well when we talk to pro-Israel no matter what people the logic is thrown out the window.

And sure even before this recent war in Gaza there were some people who also called Tucker Carlson racist against blacks. Of course they were wrong…. As just like the pro Israel people who whine about Carlson being anti-Jewish they would attempt to redefine words to suit their political agenda. They were never able to show Carlson saying “blacks are inferior to whites” or something like that.

I never heard of Tucker until Fox brought him in to replace Bill O'Reilly. He was pretty OK, about the only thing left worth watching on Fox when I quit getting cable. Then he had a pretty good thing with Trump and others. My guess is that now that his career is turning south again, he is saying and doing very controversial stuff trying to garner attention and be relevant again.

I remember when he first went to podcasts, folks here were hanging on their sheet waiting for the next one to come out. Now, no one even mentions him.

I do agree that Tucker has at times come off as a dick. Interestingly, enough in the past few months, he has been very apologetic and regretful of his previous attitudes. When he was interviewing people, he did not agree with. Wish I could say the same thing about the fanatical pro Israel, no matter what people. I mean by far they are the worst when it comes to falsely accusing people of something. They have normalized calling someone a Nazi with no evidence….. which is very dangerous because after a lot of people would say the only good Nazi is a dead Nazi.

Tucker has said he never took the Covid vaccine. Also Tucker and have her personally testified in court. That was a Fox News issue. Tucker did personally regret some of the election coverage.., so I don’t know what you’re trying to do there but if you’re trying to blame Tucker for what Fox News agreed to wrt settling a law ….that’s like blaming all CBS anchors for the fact that CBS settled a lawsuit with Trump.

Cooper did say that the Nazis did not have the resources to take care of Jews in concentration camps. He did not deny or celebrate the holocaust…But even if he said something nasty about Jews that obviously doesn’t mean Tucker Carlson said it. And again Tucker is a journalist he can interview anyone he wants. But again when we’re dealing with fanatical pro Israel people they throw logic right out the window. According to their logic every news anchor on CNN or fox is a monster if at some point they interviewed someone who is a racist or something like that.

What’s more unfortunate but also funny is often the same people who lie about others being anti-Jewish make some of the most bigoted anti-Muslim comments.
