And run Kamala for the last few months since she didn't win the election? I just saw this comment in another thread and it worried me.

No, then Kamala would have to admit on some level she lied about Joe being fit enough to finish his term.

Of course not. Why would he even need to do that? He could just ask her what she's like him to pursue over the next two months. As it were, the other branches of government won't help a president who is two months away from retirement.

I said it and it would not surprise me but the dems blew the chance for it to make a difference in the election. They should have 25th Tater when they removed him from the head of the ticket.

I heard today that Obama told Shapero not to accept the VP nod because he wants him to run in '28 against Newsome.

This is the last time we've seen Kamala running for national office, so I don't think that would make much of a difference.

Are you sure that this is really the last that we've seen of her though?

Why would it be a worry? Its more worrisome for a daft, senile senior citizen to have his finger on the button. You never know what is going to happen.

If you watch MSNBC or CNN, I'm sure they will catch up with her to get her views on one issue or the next. But I can't see Kamala in the presidential mix in 2028 or beyond.

True.

Well, he could do the honorable thing and just resign for the good of the country, making her the first woman president. Doesn't mean he's not up to the job. He can still run the country from his nursing home.

Yeah, but how badly could Kamala mess up this country even more than it already is in only a few months?

Biden should resign for his own good, not just the country's. In his current health and mental condition, he doesn't need to be paraded frequently around and forced in a suit and tie.

Yeah, but I don't want to be stuck with Kamala for even just a few months. Especially since we just got rid of her last night/early this morning.
