Suspicions Donald Trump is using campaign to pave way for new TV network
I think he knew he had no chance of becoming President. I personally believe this Presidential campaign was done so he can build up his brand/image and boost his fame.
He is a good business man and has started many companies in the past (airlines, hotels, steaks, casinos etc). Lots of them failed. Maybe after the elections are over he will start new companies and hope to gain a large customer base from the fans he gains during the election.

No. I think he did it to boost his ego. Not his brand. Not his fame. Just as a way to fulfill his own vision of his own greatness. I mean really....What's more over the top as a way to confirm that one is "all that and more" than to be elected U.S. President? I'm not saying others ran for that reason; I'm saying that is Trump's motivation and way of looking at it. Remember, for Trump, being rich is a measure of winning. Everything about the man boils down to winning and losing.

Thats true, he does seem kind of egotistical. I can only imagine how superior and narcissistic he would feel if he became President and ran one of the biggest powerful countries in the world

Trump is certain to face personal and financial retribution if he loses. Do you really believe that Hillary's "Justice" Department would leave him alone after he said that she should be in jail?
