such as getting people out of poverty through
education and microlending. Even Ben Carson
supports microeconomics to get people off welfare.

If you can't find ONE thing where you agree with Obama,
even eliminating Osama Bin Laden
or vetoing business acquisitions pushed by the Chinese,
then you are only looking to disagree.
That's fine, everyone has political biases and
not everyone is looking for exceptions or points of agreement.
But you will get yourself labeled a Racist that way.
I don't agree with the majority of Obama's approaches,
which violate basic Constitutional principles and enforce wrongful political practices.
But areas where we agree on the right ideas, of course, I'm going to support those.
Good ideas don't become bad just because even messed up people agree with them.
The right solutions will unify everyone from all sides, that's how you can tell what should be the focus.
Not on the people or groups, but what are the solutions we agree to work on.

Dear GISMYS: Anyone like Bush or Obama who gets elected by half the nation, and clearly does NOT represent the other half, is going to hover around 50/50. That's a no-brainer
and doesn't take any stats to explain if you look at the Partisan representation and splits.
We already KNEW this. What has changed? Bush represented more of the conservatives and Republicans while alienating the liberals and Democrats. Obama represented more of the liberals and Democrats while alienating the Republicans and conservatives.
Both dividing the nation 50/50 in terms of representing one party/side over the other.
What I look at are what are the policies and solutions that are going to work for America.
Not who is or who isn't in office; these programs to stabilize and rebuild the economy are going to require ALL businesses, ALL nonprofits, ALL people/populations from all states.
(Ex: Bush supported programs to help people coming out of incarceration and integrating into society as working productive citizens -- why didn't the liberal progressives who want prison reform jump on this issue to work together? Obama supports microlending and education to break the cycle of poverty and dependence -- why not collaborate on that?)
To represent ALL the population takes ALL parties, not just 50/50 depending on "agenda."
What if we took a poll as to how many people agreed with Einsteins' theories?
What tiny % of the population could appreciate contributions from Einstein, Mozart, etc.?
Why not look at the principles, approaches and solutions that everyone supports.
Those are independent of WHICH person or party is in control of what office.
Just focusing on who gets what office, who is up or down in the polls, doesn't solve the actual problems. This seems like a distraction compared to the work that is really required.
Reminds me of divorced parents, fighting for custody and control, so they take every thing each other does wrong and uses that in court to slam and discredit each other; instead of working together for the best interest of the children and family. The money they waste hiring lawyers and fighting drawn out battles in court depletes from their kids college fund.
So while both sides fight, they lose time and resources, defeating their whole purpose.
Is this really the best use of resources, that we could be investing directly into solutions?
