"conspiracy theorist" is just a lable someone uses to delegitimize an aurgument or a person.

People do conspire and and some government conspiracies are true. If people who believe false conspiracies are "nutbars" then what are the people who believed Gulf of Tonkin,Bay of Pigs,Agent Orange,Operation Ajax,Tuskegee study and CIA spreds drugs to war protesters were false?

It's not just what others say that puts him in that category, but what he, himself, says. What else would you call someone who labels TSA equipment as "porno scanners", but a Class A nutjob?

Some people are very cynical of the government.

I opt out of the Cancer Machine Scan Ray every time I fly. I just say: "I'm not going through the Cancer Machine" and they pat me down (which is an illegal search but still better than radiation)

I do occasionally. But i visit his site more. He gets a bad rap from the usual suspects, but he's actually very intelligent. His detractors don't listen to his show or check out his website enough. If they did, they would be very surprised to find how interesting the guy really is. People shouldn't judge him on what third parties say about him. They should just give his show & site a chance, with no preconceived notions. It can be a very enlightening experience. But you have to be open-minded to get it. I don't agree with all of his beliefs, but i do find myself agreeing with him often. More Stations should carry his show. At the very least, it's very interesting entertainment.

I think Jones takes much of the initial information he gives, of which much has some truth to it, and churns it through a charlatan machine to create outlandish scenarios which seem to only benefit his wallet.
