Do you like Shakespeare?

Have enjoyed reading Shakespeare at times and watching the plays and movies.
That said, I do not like it when they turn the movies into warped modern adaptations of the originals.

The plays, some. None of the histories but a bunch of tragedies and a couple of comedies.

Once you help students get through the language (which was weird to people in his day too), most of the stories are pretty entertaining. Especially the filthy stuff. Same goes for Chaucer.
