And what do you think of them? Some think they were allied with america and some think they were collaborators of the nazis, in the 90s chetnik got synonmyous with nationalist serbian paramilitary and war crimes.

chetniks are famous for beards, and wear subara (a serbian form of hat) with emblem, they are pro-church and nationalistic also often pro King (monarchists).

Don't know much about them, but it sounds like they would work with whoever advanced their goals at the time, but that could change in the blink of an eye. I'm not sure they were real trustworthy.

All I know is that the Serbians I know would not react well to the term.
