Do you enjoy Music where you may not understand the lyrics?

Depends on the song. Bawitdaba by Kid Rock is a great song and I have no idea what he's trying to say.

Right here is American Idol runner up John Foster singing "Amazing Grace". The second verse is done in what he calls Cajun French. He is from the city of Addis which is just outside Baton Rouge, Louisiana. :) :) :)

God bless you and him always!!!

Holly (a girl who will never have enough of him)

P.S. His full name is John Foster Benoit. His last name is French and to answer the asked question, if I love the singer enough, I will listen to whatever they want to sing for us. Excessive enough swearing is the only thing that will make me get up and leave.

I heard so much music similar to this when I lived in Germany that I got used to it. I happen to think these two women are singing a Swiss song but please if you know, tell us what kind it is. Swiss and German are so similar. Do you enjoy music where the language is from non English speaking countries?

When I lived in Germany why there and what did I do there?
I served in the US Army as the company clerk of a Battalion HQ. We ran the Battalion in other words that had around 2300 troops. I customized my 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk to repair an accident had by the previous owner. I earned a small Army income. I parlayed my income to a large income by lending to soldiers money they used for fun. I had money to travel all over West Germany. I lived in Berlin Germany for a month. I also owned a Mercedes Benz 4 dr sedan.

This is an oldie that everybody can at least hum and probably recite the first line:

And who can't sing the words to the chorus of "Witch Doctor"? :)

The singer in Cocteau Twins sang mostly gibberish. She used her voice purely as an instrument. But their music is just meh to me. I thought of various foreign language songs, and then I remembered Sabine Klassen's deep guttural screaming.

Spanish guitar can be fantastic. Since retirement, and having time for YouTube, I have been getting into more Latin rhythms, such as Poncho Sanchez, but that is more instrumental, of course.

I love me some good Mariachi...
