I agree with the president because there is a wind farm by Palm Springs that has never worked. Acres of windmills that killed flocks of birds for one day and have been shut down ever since.

And here's the bigger problem Dems don't want to think about. Put up these eyesores all over the country and when birds start getting sliced up, PETA will be on the government to shut them down. So which radical group will you lefties side with? Storage capacities are woefully inadequate. Just not a viable solution.

That's not how it works. When the wind stops blowing, electricity needs are supplemented by traditional means of power generation such as coal and nuclear.

My SW wind, supplemented by solar and hydro. I've been(house and cabins) off grid for 14 years. I still use conventional in my shop. It all works fine.

Honestly, they’re too small to be part of what I deal with at work. My particular department only sees the larger installations, and ones connected to our system, not self-serving units.
