Do the math: The cost of "high" gas prices

I thought you started this last week. How about 4 a gallon...lolol

A turbo on 89?

People who have to use premium just felt the gas nozzle up their tanks. Watch some dummies will ruin engines going to 89

Many turbo engines will run 89 octane...heck, plenty of them run 87 with no issues. I aw many Chryslers burn 87 or 89 with no issues. Friend's Caravan wound up 280,000+, and he never put premium in it. (He ran 87 winter, 89 summer.)

I can get around 36 highway miles per gallon on a 350 small block V-8 by just drafting.

No, you don't.

No, you don't.

Dude, don't tell me what kind of mileage I'm capable of getting on my own cars.

You're talking to someone who knows cars, builds cars, and knows how to drive them and get the most from them.

In fact, that's not even much over the window sticker's factory estimation with normal driving.

Yeah, sure you do. And I get a million billion miles per quart in my Hyundai.
