Students have been bullies since the beginning of school time and, unless unchecked, continues and schools foster an environment of the student not thinking for one's self. This, among other situations, fosters and festers a school environment of shootings. Until the time schools address the bullying problem in schools, even if guns were outlawed, disaffected students would get and use, for example, knives and bombs.

Now, the question at hand, "do these work and do they help some". The answer is that they likely do, but that only begs the question, is the risk worth the reward? It can only be answered with a question.
