Just from what we currently know , president was demanding private meetings with FBI director to apply pressure on ongoing investigation into Flynn case, demanded loyalty and subsequently fired him.

If congress thinks that this highly unethical behavior amounts to obstruction of justice that is grounds enough for impeachment.

Yes not much floor. Clinton's presidency, like Obama's began early in the business cycle, Trump is starting out with a economy late in the cycle and for it not to slow by late 2020 requires a historically unprecedented growth period (2009-2020).
