Prove it.He was not charged for political speech.
Deal with it.
He was charged with inciting. That's not political speech.Prove it.
Trump isn’t a king. You know that right?Since Trump returned to power in January, at least 60 judges or appeals courts have slowed or blocked some of his administration’s initiatives.
Sixty, out of nearly 900.
Here is a breakdown of federal judges and by whom they were appointed:
Following are the number of Article III federal judges serving in the federal judiciary as of May 24, 2025, organized by the president who appointed them.
Current federal judges by appointing president and circuit
Ballotpedia: The Encyclopedia of American Politicsballotpedia.org
Appointed by Democrat presidents:
Appointed by Republican presidents:
- Joe Biden: 236
- Barack Obama: 239
- Bill Clinton: 30
- Jimmy Carter: 0
So a little more than twice as many Biden and Obama appointees as Trump appointees. But that "score" is not that relevant. If there were only a dozen federal judges appointed by Biden, the Democrat activists would have simply judge shopped to their courts and get the actions they have gotten from the sixty.
- Donald Trump: 234
- George W. Bush: 112
- George H.W. Bush: 10
- Ronald Reagan: 10
- Gerald Ford: 0
I get that Democrats are giddy that they have a chance to stop Trump's agenda after losing the election. But, what will they say when Trump appointed judges do the same if Democrats win the White House in 2028? What will they say if those Trump appointees also stop congressional actions when Dems have the majority?
Will they be satisfied with the answer: "Marbury v Madison, bitches!"
The Beauty of these "rulings" is that most of them do not "rule" on anything. Nearly all of them are judicial orders, not rulings. No one can run the executive and try to respond to nine hundred judges issuing orders and the opposition party claiming those orders are now "the law."
These will get laughed out of court if it even gets that far.Prove it.
Anyway . . .
There was some debate amongst Trump supporters here about whether Trump should give back some of the lawfare, or take the high road.
It seems he has decided to give it back.
Congresswman "LaMonica" has been ordered to turn over all firearms to the U.S. Marshalls and she is facing a possible 8 years in the federal pen. Judge Dugan will almost certainly be disbarred, even if she serves no time. I'm guessing Schumer is under investigations for his threats to Supreme Court justices, and Schiff for his constant lying to keep the phony investigations of Trump going.
The never-ending victimhood of MAGA.These incidents would have been tolerated, covered up, minimized, or otherwise allowed to fade away by Republicans of the past. Now your party can either brace themselves to be treated as Trump and his supporters have been treated the last 8 years, or they can ask Trump to negotiate some kind of lawfare cease fire.
But they will have to ask, and nicely.
When did he incite, specifically? He was charged with inciting. That's not political speech.
.When did he incite, specifically?
Did he do it any other way besides speaking to his constituents?
Why?These will get laughed out of court if it even gets that far.
Why?
LaMonica is on video assaulting federal officers. That doesn't seem very funny to me. Do you think its funny because the officers she assaulted were black?
Are you thinking that this is still the 2020 "Summer of Love" where BLM and ANTIFA got away with so much violence against federal officers, and attacking sacred places like federal courts?
…you have no credibility to criticize. None. Not after J6 and the rightists incredible effort to avoid taking responsibility for their extremists. In your illogical world, BLM and Antifa would have been patriots and peaceful tourists, political prisoners unjustly arrested.Coyote, you're literally claiming that what we can all see with our own eyes didn't happen.Impossible to tell what is happening from that video and who is “assaulting” who. It looks like a minor scuffle and quite a lot of people laying hands on LaMonica. In any other context this would be let go, but it is Dem Congress critter in MAGAmerica.
I never defended the actions of the Jan 6 rioters, nor did I pretend that what was clearly on video never happened.…you have no credibility to criticize. None. Yes, but ICE is not obligated to immediately throw open the gates as soon as someone says "I'm a Congresswoman." It is not unreasonable for them to request identification and to notify those officers inside so they can lock up the more dangerous lawbreakers for the safety of all concerned.A quick note: ICE and this regime seem to have forgotten that Congress has the authority to enter any ICE detention facility at will, and conduct oversight.
ICE is finally being allowed to do the job of enforcing immigration laws. That's not being unaccountable, that's doing their job.ICE has become dangerously unaccountable acting more like the Stasi than American law officers.
You decried the shooting of a rioter in the forefront of a violent mob that was crawling through a window she had busted to get at tbe congressional representatives and staffers who were sheltering there. Oh ya. That is a “summary execution.Coyote, you're literally claiming that what we can all see with our own eyes didn't happen.
One does not "scuffle" with federal officers, without consequences. Ask the Jan 6 rioters who spent months or years locked up for it.
I never defended the actions of the Jan 6 rioters, nor did I pretend that what was clearly on video never happened.
I did question the excessive punishment of many for just being there, with no evidence that they scuffled with the officers. Of course I decried the summary execution of the woman who had not put her hands on any officer, unlike LaMonica.

Not to mention that the Mayor has no such privilege.

Then you saw LaMonica shove more than one ICE officers, all of whom were just doing their jobs. You decried the shooting of a rioter in the forefront of a violent mob that was crawling through a window she had busted to get at tbe congressional representatives and staffers who were sheltering there. Oh ya. That is a “summary execution.
I watched the video of the ICE interaction.
