Given things there are not any better a very conservative estimate would be about 60K from then to 2026.....Almost exactly Spanberger's margin of victory which was 55K votes.

Just because they leave a blue state does not mean they leave their former voting habits there.

You can predict what a person might do in the future by what they have done in the past.

LOL....Maybe blue states really should impose a draconian "exit tax".;)

Virginia is not a good example

There has always been a large Democratic population in the DC suburbs

so you are saying 60 thousand newcomers swayed the 7 million already living there?....i think you can blame the people of Virginia for letting that happen....

Blue state liberal ideologies do not work in the long term. They stifle business (especially small business) and people leave....carrying those same business crushing ideologies with them. Its one of the most confounding things I've ever seen.

They leave one state they can no longer afford to live in, move to another and begin shilling for the same exact things that made their former home unlivable....

Muslims do the exact same thing....same with Somalians,....same with Democrats.

Some immigrants do not....very different mindset for those. Especially those escaping an oppressive regime. Those escaping California will find assimilation into new environments very difficult at first. No one is going to agree or like them until they learn to moderate their speech and behavior.
It's one thing to want to garden....its another to try and force your neighbors to Garden something specific.

Tennessee is a red state.....as they grow they are importing tons of Blue State people by corporations moving there. Nashville is a Blue city....but in a Red State so their policies are limited by the state AND the county line. Its goofy and weird how things happen in that city. The surrounding counties of Davidson (Nashville) are extremely Red leaning....not much of a blue population in any of them. (Do watch your speed though....ZERO tolerance for speeding, drugs, or any criminal mischief)
However, inside of Nashville city limits, nuisance crime seems to not be a crime by the way its treated.
In Wilson or Williamson counties a handgun will get admired and appreciated....the most anti gun thing anyone might ask is that you unload it while in their store(but usually only if handling it outside a holster)...however inside of Nashville people might have a complete meltdown upon seeing one, in holster, box, or anywhere)

BS.....Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties were red till W expanded the .gov after 9/11. It got worse after The Halfrican expanded it even more.

NC is another example of blue transplants ruining a red state....Look at Ashville, NC.

Do blue state transplants ruin red states/cities?

Yes! But I no longer see a red/blue paradigm. I see a good/evil paradigm. Moral vs. Immoral or Amoral. Righteousness vs. Depravity.

So, yes, depraved people vote for depraved leaders. When their leaders destroy their living conditions, they move to a safer and more moral part of the country then vote for depraved leaders and the cycle starts all over again.

Ashville has always been a little squirrelly....but surrounded completely by conservatives.
Its mountain people left alone and isolated for too long. (Theres a Mexican food place there downtown I love...unique and creative....good stuff)

The other nuts?.....I think they were trying to go to Florida but broke down and just stayed in Ashville.

Dude, why do you always make yourself out as an unwilling spectator? Did all this just sneak up on you? Did it ever occur to you to get involved in stopping it or turning it around?

How did politics ever become a one way street where blue changes red but red never changes blue--- especially when red is so much better and more popular.

I met a long time resident of my town yesterday who is selling his home and moving to WV citing the political climate in Virginia.

I told him that he should stay and fight and he said he knew a lost cause when he saw one.

Damn. :(

Problem is that blue state residents expect good schools, city services, parks, recreation

I don't live in the blue counties nor do I have a say on what their planning commissions allow to be built out.

I'll say this, when they were red the local gop politicians sold out to the developers.....Build it and they will come.....They did.

Hell, even in my county you have to stand on the local politicians with both feet to prevent them from doing the same thing here.....There's my fight right there.

Typical republican. Live and let live, and when push comes to shove, they move out.

Wonder where all the conservatives in this country will move to when the Left have taken over the whole country?

Look at the GOP: They have Trump back in the WH after a triumphant victory yet this congress is one of the lowest activity congresses of all time getting very little done.

The good news about WV is that in most parts of it, you even look a little funny at them like some screwball big city kook and they will just disappear your ass.

Damned Yankees ruined Texas when they started slithering down here in the late 80's and setting up their corrup and vile corporations.

Now Texas has Yankee Cockroaches in offices they should NEVER hold. They've already completely destroyed Austin, Houston, and El Paso.

What is stopping you from getting involved? Look at Trump: once a NY real estate developer, then a beauty pageant host, then a TV host, now president of the USA.

Barry Obumma was a Chicago social organizer from Hawaii/Kenya, and he became president. I would think a guy like you who lives and breathes firearms would be chomping at the bit to get involved in fighting anti-gun legislation. I mean, if a guy like you who even makes his own gun tools can't get involved, who will?

They ya go and why your neighbor "sees the writing on the wall," because apparently he knows most republicans are just too lazy, selfish and sell outs. Half the GOP in Washington have sold their country out for personal gain, which just makes finding good, committed, motivated republicans more important.

The democrats have an industry of cultivating and growing new radicals, but the GOP has nothing. You become a conservative on your own, and you get involved or stay a conservative on your own. While the DNC fights and claws for every possible voter, the GOP does nothing. The GOP needs LEADERS. Strong people who LOVE their country.

Hell, even in my county you have to stand on the local politicians with both feet to prevent them from doing the same thing here.....There's my fight right there.
Case in point. But fighting just for your county may not be enough, unless your country controls the state (which it does not).

How exactly do you suggest you can "get involved"? Have you ever tried contacting any representative and received the staff's form letter? I have seen the effect here in Stafford County VA of people fleeing nova and bringing their bullshit here with them. It's no secret here, but this new governor may change it forever.

That and the pillbillys will steal everything that's not nailed down. I tried to warn him.

LOL....A former co-worker bought some acreage near Romney, WV, installed a well/septic, and a pad to put his RV on with the intent of moving there when he retired.

The pillbillys stole the copper in the well, dropped the pump back into the well for laughs, and even stole the 1' X 1' pavers he had put down.

LOL....Don't think a hot stove is safe....They stole an outdoor wood furnace from a guy down the road.....While it was still burning!

Blah, you have no answers so bugger-off.

I was sort of wondering how Stafford Co. was fairing.....I've not been down that way in decades....Back when the old Camp 21 prison was still there.

I heard that the state sold the land and there's a huge development there now. 😐

Get involved. Make a difference. Find a way. Get inspired. Call people, make connections. There is power in numbers. Evil succeeds because good men fear to tread.

Look at Erika Kirk. She was just a housewife of sorts until Charlie was killed. Now she's running a multi-million dollar organization and it is growing by leaps and bounds. And she still has two little kids to care for.

Just remember, every one of the people in government you hate and disagree with right now started out with nothing more than you have right now--- just another person with their dick in their hands. But they willed themselves to do something with it.

Every great success story begins with a vision, and the willingness to believe in oneself and succeed.

Like Bruce Lee said: Thoughts are energy. If you can't see yourself succeeding, then you've already killed your chances, so, the first step in every endeavor is to see yourself as succeeding.

Not waiting for or hoping someone else will get it done.
