WTF does religion have to do with anything? and the strongest growing economies on earth like China, India and the rest of the developing world are all mixed economies that would laugh at the concept of not investing in their country as it is part of why the west is dying.
Typical your admiration for failing economies and cultures. Tell the truth...to be admirable in your eyes it only has to be (1) not American and (2) Marxist right?
As for "laughing at the US"...I doubt it. China and India together have 37% of the worlds population but account for less than 9% of the worlds economic output. The US, with 4% of the worlds population accounts for 33.2% of the worlds economic output. Anyone who can immigrates to the US, comes for medical treatment, desperately tries for an H1B visa and sending their kids to an American college is a dream for Chinese and Indian parents.

As for healthcare we have (had?) the best in the world. If you want to take part then get a job. People who can afford it travel from countries with free healthcare to the US if they need specialized or critical treatment. Remember when
The Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador came to the US for his heart surgery? I don't blame him.
"In citing those numbers in its 2015 report, "Leaving Canada for Medical Care," the organization said difficulties in obtaining timely medical care at home is, increasingly, leading Canadians to seek it abroad. "It is possible [they] may have left the country to avoid some of the adverse medical consequences of waiting for care, such as worsening of their condition, poorer outcomes following treatment, disability, or death," the report says. "Some may leave simply to avoid delay and to make a quicker return to normal life.""
"...Canadian Institute of Health Information, just published the results of their health policy survey of adults in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. The results indicate that Canada is not just lagging, but is literally scraping the bottom when it comes to indicators of timely access to health care.
Here’s a sample of our[Canada's] most spectacular failures:
- Ability to get a same or next-day appointment when sick: worst
- Ability to get after-hours care (without resorting to visiting an emergency department): second-worst
- Wait for treatment in the emergency department: worst
- Wait to see a specialist: worst
- Wait for elective surgery: worst" Canadian Wait Times Link
To say that we "dont offer healthcare" is a lie. Ask any Canadian.
And as far as "stagnating" in science and tech...Nobel Prizes by country:
1 United States 353
2 United Kingdom 125
3 Germany 105
China has a pitiful 9 winners and India has 10.
