I'm not old enough. My first trip to France was in the early 1950s.

I have been to France many times over a period of 50 years. It's a wonderful country.

I remember the first time I went there. Took a train into Paris from Germany. Walking out of Gare du Nord was like being in Africa…or Detroit.

Even walking around the tourist areas, you constantly get hounded by Algerian Africans trying to sell you shit.
