We fully expect Iran to act like petulant children. They will keep lashing out in every pathetic way they can. Attacking non-US ships that have nothing to do with the war is their only card now.

The best military method has always been the siege tactic, surround the castle and starve them out. That is essentially what President Trump is doing with the blockade after hammering their military for a month.

I believe when the so called rescue of the two downed pilots was underway which probably never happened, Trump had to be removed from the situation room almost in a straight jacket because he had totally lost control and was causing chaos among the staff and was endangering whatever operation was going on, which was probably the attempt to gram some Iranian nuclear material and had gone pear shaped with several lost US aircraft.
