Putting aside the constitutional merits of the 14th A ballot argument, there are things like this that should be politically disqualifying for consideration of a second term. The article refers to an Oval Office meeting with Sidney Powell and Mike Flynn. Two people who shouldn't have been within 100 hundred miles of the WH let alone allowed in to the Oval Office.

President Trump on Friday discussed naming Sidney Powell, who as a lawyer for his campaign team unleashed conspiracy theories about a Venezuelan plot to rig voting machines in the United States, to be a special counsel overseeing an investigation of voter fraud, according to two people briefed on the discussion.

During an appearance on the conservative Newsmax channel this week, Mr. Flynn pushed for Mr. Trump to impose martial law and deploy the military to “rerun” the election. At one point in the meeting on Friday, Mr. Trump asked about that idea.

Ms. Powell’s ideas were shot down by every other Trump adviser present, all of whom repeatedly pointed out that she had yet to back up her claims with proof. At one point, one person briefed on the meeting said, she produced several affidavits, but upon inspection they were all signed by a man she has previously used as an expert witness, whose credentials have been called into question.

The White House counsel, Pat A. Cipollone, and the White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, repeatedly and aggressively pushed back on the ideas being proposed, which went beyond the special counsel idea, those briefed on the meeting said.

In my view, any prez who would consider making a delusional freak like Powell a special counsel, or even be in her presence in the WH, is unfit to be prez.

In my view, any prez who would inquire about the declaration of martial law in order to advance a plot to steal the election he lost is unfit to be prez.

IOW, THERE HAS TO BE A LINE OR WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING HERE? Overlooking unprecedented moral shortcomings on top of turning a blind eye to contemplating extra-constitutional measures to overturn the people's will.........how do you cult members possibly justify it? Because this example is only one of hundreds of examples highlighting what makes Trump unfit for the office of POTUS.

While I agree that this is indicative of what is wrong with our politics today, it's no more crazy than sending billions of dollars to Ukraine.

How is a man who showed the colossal error of judgement in considering a freak show like Powell to be made a special counsel qualified to be prez? How could he even allow her to be in his orbit of advisers after she made the bizarre claims about Venezuela?

The Trump campaign’s legal team increasingly has been leaning on conspiracy theories in its effort to blame the president’s reelection defeat on widespread voter fraud, for which there is no evidence.

In court, the team has brought largely unsuccessful lawsuits that lack evidence. In public, they have been spouting unfounded claims and conspiracy theories.

The most recent example is aimed at a company called Smartmatic, which has said it supplied voting equipment to one U.S. county.

Despite Smartmatic’s relatively small share of the U.S. voting apparatus, Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, and Sidney Powell, who had appeared with the Trump campaign’s legal team until recently, have suggested that it is the source of nationwide fraud.

Powell claimed at a Nov. 19 press conference that Smartmatic had switched votes away from Trump and gave them to President-elect Joe Biden using technology supposedly developed for former Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez, who died in 2013. Previously, Powell had advanced a similar conspiracy theory that a secret supercomputer was used to switch votes. We already debunked that one.

Nothing anyone in Biden's admin has done comes anywhere near this.

Like the supposed conspiracy theory about the lab leak origin for COVID?

Sidney Powell is nice to him and supports him no matter what.

How he is "treated" is his primary criteria for pretty much anything.

He is a spoiled eight year old boy.

And the problem there is that they’re women?
People of color?

Both?
How about a dumbass?
"see, the problem is, we have problems. And that causes problems for people. Which is a problem. Especially for the people that have problems."
Thats how that moron speaks.
