When TRUMP! declared record employment for minorities, we were smugly assured ad infinitum that it had nothing to do with him, that he was just continuing something Obama had done. Given that, how can anyone claim Quid Pro Joe had anything to do with TRUMP!'s employment trends?

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Ridiculous.
Obviously the protestors on Jan 6, did not even think they were doing anything illegal.
They thought the voter fraud was illegal, and they were just trying to ensure a proper investigation.
If they actually thought they were going to do an "insurrection", they not only would have brought guns capable of defeating the police, but would have also had to have brought food, supplies, sleeping gear, etc. for a PERMANENT occupation.
Since they did not, clearly they intended to leave at the end of the day.
So that can not possibly be in "insurrection", and anyone claiming it is, clearly is attempting to defraud the next election.
