Okay, and after they factor in DVD sales and Streaming, they are probably going to break even. Then the next remake will rake in billions.
I would love to see more original ideas out of Hollywood.
But most of what Hollywood makes now are sequels, prequels, remakes, and adaptations.
Why? Because these are known intellectual properties with a built in audience.

When all else fails, one irresistible tendency is to greatly exaggerate the true budget in order to jack up prices.

She is white, very white, so white in fact she was named...wait for it....Snow White. You can try to pretend the character is not white, but no one has to go watch the movie if it sucks, which apparently it does. Still waiting on the all-white remake of Black Panther. Of course you'll be fine with that, right?

Then I guess you wouldn't mind if the movie “Uncle Tom's Cabin” starred Owen Wilson as Tom and Jamie Foxx as his master? They both are very good actors.
As for the role of Snow White, I think Redd Foxx would be the best for her role. I liked him in "Sanford and son“.
