Dims call for investigation into Barr firing AG from SDNY

Isn’t Barr allowed to fire anyone in the DOJ that he wants to?

Since when do we start investigations into fully legal actions?
Presidential pardons are also "fully legal " action. Only they are not if you bribe or blackmail the person into issuing one.

Hence the need to investigate

Since Trumps keeps firing the investigators.

So Barr was bribed to fire this AG?

I am not connecting your dots.

That's to be investigated. If the US Attorneys (and there have been three so far for SDNY) being fired because they investigate Trump inc, that would be illegal.

You make zero sense, as usual.
A firing is a reversible action. If somebody is illegally removed, they can be reinstated.
If somebody is illegally pardoned, they stay pardoned forever.

Apples and crescent wrenches.

You keep bringing up pardons as if it pertains to the topic.

Barr can legally fire anyone who he has jurisdiction over.

Why the investigation?

I legally drove 45 MPH in a 45 MPH zone this morning. Should I be investigated for driving within the law?

Crescent wrenches always lead to a stripped nut. I prefer a wrench that is the size of the nut.

I had a thumb controlled crescent wrench that sucked so badly.

But I digest...

Damn you're thick. A firing can be investigated and if found to be illegal, can be reversed. There is a remedy to an illegal firing.
Meanwhile replublicans investigated a pardon, which even if plainly illegal, has no legal reversal. The only thing that can come of it, is political talking points.

To put it simply. Investigating firing the US attorney from SDNY (and this is the third one) has a legal fix. While the republican investigation of a pardon was just politics.

Yall have a good point.
The firing of an investigator is perfectly legal
Such actions never need to be investigated.
Even if he worked for Ukraine and was investigating Burisma.

Carry on.
