‎Bob Marley had a Jewish father and it was that connection to his Jewish ancestry that inspired him to wear symbols like the חי ("Chai"), which means "life" in Hebrew.
‎6 of his grandchildren are Jewish Israeli, and his son married a Persian Jew.
