For PROTESTING?

"Capitol Police said Monday evening that more than 400 people had been arrested for unlawful demonstration activity.
"Many of the protesters had marched from Philadelphia to Washington over the past week."

UNLAWFUL DEMONSTRATION ACTIVITY.

Pay attention people. HUNDREDS are in jail for demonstrating against our corrupt and out of control government. They aren't in jail for anything else except criticizing the unconstitutional nature of our government. Did you know that's illegal now? I bet you didn't.

Hundreds arrested as protesters flock to US Capitol to protest money in politics

They have a right to protest. They do not have a right to disrupt a city and trample upon the rights of others.

They want the entire government dissolved and replaced by a people's politburu. They are young communists. This was organized by RevCom. Revolution Communist.

Yeah but it doesn't matter, people have a right to protest...and they are right in that the government is no longer functioning the way it was set up to function.

Did you know that the Bundy land issue involves Harry Reid, personally?

We no longer have separation of powers, we no longer have checks and balances. All the branches of the government..the legislative, the executive and the judicial, support each other in violating the constitution and providing more power to themselves. Our country is gone, and we need to take it back.

They were arrested because it is illegal for anyone to protest anything on the steps of the capital building. That's why they chose the steps.
You can get a permit if you want to protest there. Lots of details and rules to follow and you have to get it way in advance, submit all kinds of information on how you plan the event, etc. The cause doesn't matter. The permit is all about ensuring public safty and respect for the location.

Exactly. Those Obumites see getting arrested as a badge of honor, so they all tried to get arrested and succeeded.

Protesting in such a way that you break the law, and accepting the result of breaking that law is as American as it gets. Henry David Thoreau, "Civil Disobediance". That does not include carrying weapons and threatening law officers.

So the protesters were arrested. That is what they sought. Whether it will make any differance in the long run, we shall see.

The Bundy 'protests' were armed insurrections, rightly treated as such.
