Or are both true? Or are both not true? I personally think both are true. Trump did well and Democrats did not. I'm not even going to say that Harris didn't do well because you have to give them credit for a team effort. Maybe the question is, "What did Harris and the dems do right"? But, she lost bad so is it even possible she and the dems did anything right?

As I said, as for the Democrats, it was very much a team effort. It would take quite a while to list everything they did wrong and all the people responsible for it. I'd say it all started when team Biden, including Joe & Jill, craved the power of the White House so much they believed that in order to win, they had to hide his condition from everyone, including the American people. You could also argue that it all started way back to when Biden picked Harris as his DEI VP. All of that actually sounds like treason to me.

6 of one, half a dozen of the other.

He ran a broad coalition campaign, she didn't.

He ran on his record, she couldn't.

It's always both, but with this many votes across a wide swatch of demographics, it's clear that Trump won. He was given a mandate by the people.

If California didn't exist, Harris would have lost by 10M votes.

I would go with both are true. I also believe that most of Kamala's votes were not votes for her, but rather votes against Trump.
Yes, we had a few threads on here asking lefties for reasons why they would vote for Harris with the stipulation that they could not say because she's not Trump. Few could give any reasons to actually vote for her.

Harris lost. She was almost singularly focused on abortion and telling people what an a-hole Donald Trump is. The people care about the economy and the cost of living. Had she focused her message on where it should have been, she would have had a decent chance of winning.
