I realize that even my SSI isn't free. I feel bad for people that I'm taking money from but I couldn't survive without it as I can't get a job. Or at least I don't think that I could keep one and then if I lose that job I have to start all over with SSI.

i don't mind paying for those less fortunate - you included. i'm curious, & you don't hafta answer - but i would think if someone is collecting SSI - then the chances are greater that there are also food stamps available. do you get them?
