Wow. RIP Diane.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Diane Keaton, the Oscar-winning star of ‘Annie Hall,’ ‘The Godfather’ films and ‘Father of the Bride,’ whose quirky, vibrant manner and depth made her one of the most singular actors of a generation, has died. She was 79.

People Magazine reported Saturday that she died in California with loved ones, citing a family spokesperson. No other details were immediately available, and representatives for Keaton did not immediately respond to inquiries from The Associated Press.

Not as old as I would hope to want to live to be

Life goes on, I hope the last day of my life is actually the best day

Sorry to hear that. Many times I watched the films she was in

Met her on the Set of “ Sleeper” at Culver City High School / Robert Frost Auditorium ) as a 12 year old riding Bicycle Motocross around the School with a few buddies .She actually took the time to talk to us was really nice . Woody Allen was not so nice but at least he did not have us kicked off the set . She was perhaps the last vestige of the Golden Age of Hollywood and a true Angeleno native . RIP

Diane Keaton 1946 - 2025

From Hair to The Godfather to Annie Hall to Father of the Bride and many more.

My favorite actress left us today. The world was a better place with her in it! 😢

She had a surprisingly long career as she transitioned from roles of a young woman, middle aged and then elderly

Most actresses are has beens once they reach 40

She had real A list Gravitas and she was a real LA native ( but she attained true New York Icon cred also )

It was pneumonia.

"A death certificate obtained by People on Thursday, October 16, confirmed that primary bacterial pneumonia was Keaton's immediate cause of death and that she had the illness for days before her death. She was 79."
