In a Republic, actually
'More than six months into Trump's second term, they haven't found much.

New research out Wednesday tracking state government efforts across the country confirms what election experts have said all along: Noncitizen voting occasionally happens but in minuscule numbers, and not in any coordinated way.

"Noncitizens are not a large threat to our election system currently," said David Becker, the executive director of the Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR), which conducted the research. "Even states that are looking everywhere to try to amplify the numbers of noncitizens … when they actually look, they find a surprisingly, shockingly small number."’

It's not ‘shocking’ – it’s the reality that continues to underscore the fact that the GOP has manufactured a talking point that is pure fiction, just like all the rest of the ‘election fraud’ lies Republicans spread.

How many times do I have to say it, if you're looking for illegals thaflt vote just by anomalies in voter registration / identity theft, you're not going to find it. They need to look at all the illegals who were LEGALLY registered to vote via things like motor voter and getting registered to vote during getting a state issued ID etc..

Yep ....

The deportations are going to show in the midterms as diminished numbers on the Democrat side. That's why they are screaming and fighting like hell against it.

Me too, it shouldn't be an issue.
It's an issue because just showing an ID, doesn't mean you're a legal voter. An ID showing US citizenship would be needed for that, and no US state has ever required that.

Thus, illegals have always easily voted in US elections, and still do. The better solution is just get rid of the illegals, and that's what they're doing.

The Democrats are well aware of what it will do to the voting numbers..... Despite the fact that we have many professional posters here spreading propaganda otherwise rather desperately I might add.

Anderson they've used the talking point to make it harder for citizens to vote.

They really think they have something here.
It's like the crime reporting.... They change the categories and ignore half of the crimes committed to claim that crime is down.
They change the definition of undocumented or illegal to hide the number of illegals that actually do vote illegally under the guise of legal voting.

What's "shocking" is that you expect us to listen to anything that NPR says, Clayton!

The real numbers will show with the lack of usaid money to falsify vote counts and the actual lack of bodies that used to call themselves legal voters who really weren't.
