Denver High School Shooting

"Hey I have a good idea! Let's post unarmed civilians at the door and pat down black teens for weapons. What could possibly go wrong"?

Said nobody ever. :laughing0301:

Male student shot 2 staff members at Denver high school before fleeing, officials say

"A male student shot and wounded two faculty members at a Denver high school on Wednesday and then fled the scene, spurring a citywide search for his whereabouts, according to city officials.

The shooting at East High School was reported at about 9:50 a.m., and police and medical responders arrived on the scene “very quickly” to find two adult men with gunshot wounds, Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas said.

One faculty member is in stable condition, and the other is in critical condition, he said.

The student suspected in the shooting, who is under 18, was under a school safety plan in which he was patted down each day, the police chief said. During Wednesday’s search, a handgun was retrieved and several shots were fired in an office area in the front of the school, away from other students and staff, he said..."

The student then fled the school, and a search is underway for his whereabouts. The weapon has not been recovered, Thomas said.
Now they are begging the police to come back to the schools after having banned them after the death of George Floyd.

So more people carrying guns would prevent shootings. :laughing0301: :asshole:

Yes...it does.......you idiots have been shown this over and over again, in particular in mass public shootings, where gun free zones are the primary targets.....

The actual writings of these mass public shooters show, they select gun free zones.......you just do not know what you are talking about.

Besides.....you should stop posting about this....the shooter was black, and he didn't use an AR-15......I am sure the borg queen of the democrat party already sent out the mind signal to stop discussing this shooting.......

The suspect has been identified, but the New York Times left out his race, which is key because it speaks to why this story is never going to see the light of day after this week. CBS News has a more in-depth profile of the shooter (via CBS News):
-----

He’s black, so you know countermeasures and orders to move on to other things in the news cycle have been handed down. Second, I don’t think an AR-15 rifle was used in the attack. Not white and no AR-15—it’s the one-two knock-out punch for these stories. Nothing can be used against the GOP or Donald Trump, so this shooting will fade, much like the recent Michigan State shooting, which left three people dead. The shooter was black and didn’t use an AR-15 rifle. The coverage lasted less than a week before everyone moved on, which is not how things should be but how the media operates regarding these tragedies.

Wonder if the idiots have any regrets?

Denver school district's board removed all police two years before high school student shot two administrators

Denver's East High School, where a 17-year-old student allegedly shot two administrators on Wednesday morning, was one of dozens of schools in the Mile High City's education system that removed all school resource officers two years ago over concerns that law enforcement contact with students "directly contributes to the school-to-prison pipeline."

If this is the case when why is it less than 1 percent of 1 percent of the students that do this sort of thing?

Basic psychology. There are many contributing factors in what finally causes a kid to overcome his approach/avoid threshold to act out violent impulses including home life, history, teaching, environment and personal constitution.

yet in your first post you put all the blame on the schools.

weird.

yet in your first post you put all the blame on the schools.

They are. Why do you think this all happens AT SCHOOLS? They are both the object and the trigger, for all of the reasons I originally stated. The pressure they are putting on kids these days is just incredible. Most kids turn it all inwardly and just self-destruct, but a few turn it outwardly and fight back.

Denver school shooting suspect dead; parents push security

A 17-year-old student was found dead in the Colorado woods after being accused of shooting and wounding two administrators at his Denver high school where students and parents were already fed up over recent violence and a lack of action by officials, authorities said Thursday

They are.

Would you make up your mind, if the school is responsible then more kids would do it.

Why do you think this all happens AT SCHOOLS?

Because that is where school shootings happen. Where else could a school shooting take place?

The pressure they are putting on kids these days is just incredible. Most kids turn it all inwardly and just self-destruct, but a few turn it outwardly and fight back.

Yet 99% of the kids do their 12 years of school and head off in to the world just fine.
