Dems worried about Hunter pardon. Why should Joe give a damn?

We? Man, I'm not joined with any christkillers.
The Romans killed Christ. Under Roman law the Jews weren't allowed to execute anyone. They could beat you within an inch of your life (40 stripes save one). If you died it was your weakness or God's will.

The Romans didn't force them to choose Barabbas, and Pilate washed his hands.

Nevertheless, the Roman's carried out the death sentence using the Roman method, crucifixion. The Jews would have stoned Jesus if they had been allowed. Crucifixion was unknown to the Jews and was actually abhorrent to them.

Admittedly, I don't think it made a huge difference to Mr. Christ.

He had to die according to the prophecies. He was beaten beyond recognition, hands, feet and side pierced; garments divided among his executioners.

Christ died according to the prophecies about his death.
I'm not super nuanced on the Bible, but I definitely don't recall anything specifically saying that the messiah would be crucified. And of course, being wholly human, I don't think Jesus cared. I think he was just thinking, "damn, this fucking hurts."

After the most spectacular high level backstabbing since Julius Caesar's demise at the hand of Roman Senators... Is there any compelling reason at all for Joe to worry about the Democrat party? I think not.

I'm trying to imagine the phone calls from Obama, Pelosi and Schumer desperately trying to to
Change his mind. He might be hesitant to listen to their advice again....it didn't work out so well.

Joe should pardon him, he’s his son. Hunter shouldn’t worry though, trump will pardon him.

I don't think Joe will pardon his kid. Should he be concerned about him? With the DoJ under trump's control, sycophantic judges like A. Cannon on the bench, and trump's stooges in the SC, some concern is warranted.
You mean compared to the current DoJ under Biden, confirmed judges who can't answer basic questions about the constitution and Biden's stooges in the Supreme Court who can't tell you what a woman is?

God damn youre dumb. Joe will pardon himself, his son and his brother for a SHITLOAD of crimes that you all said didnt exist. You think youre party is in bad shape NOW? Just wait until the world finds out that democrats covered up the crimes of the most corrupt politician in US history.

Well clearly whatever deal they offered Joe in exchange for him dropping out is off the table.

David wrote the prophetic account in Psalm 22. Having hands and feet pierced strongly suggests crucifixion, especially given the accompanying parting of his garments comment.

Very interesting. Didn't know that. Still, as a human, while he was dying, I'm not sure it made a difference to Christ personally. I don't think he was up there thinking, "good thing I wasn't stoned, that would defy the prophecy!"

He was probably thinking, "Not my will but your will be done."
