My late husband and I had the privilege of enjoying our drive through New York State and loving another benefit--seeing "Cats" when it was running in the theater district of NYC. Seems that was a lifetime ago, but it was very entertaining as I recollect, and the scenery of upstate NY was lovely. We also enjoyed driving through the autumnal glory in Vermont, New Hampshire, Boston and parts of rural Massachusetts. There, I got hooked on real maple syrup on French toast, and as a sweetener in coffee with cream. If you ever try real maple syrup in your morning coffee, it's all good.
