From the standpoint of experience Bondi is qualified to be AG.
The troubling part of her testimony was that she promised independence from trump but didn't demonstrate it. And that many of her answers to uncomfortable questions were non-responsive dodges.
When asked a direct question about the outcome of the 2020 election (she's on the record as having worked to foment the Big Lie) she answered as though trump was sitting right behind her. Too afraid of what his reaction to the truth would be to tell it under oath.
If she can't answer a question during a confirmation hearing that would irritate him because it's the truth, why would we expect she would stand up to him in the Oval Office when asked to do something unethical or illegal?
Hegseth is another matter. He lacks the integrity and professional experience to be Sec. of Defense.
All Repubs, including those of you on this board, know that. When I say he lacks integrity I don't just mean because of his excessive drinking, his marital infidelities, his abuse of women, or how his behavior caused him to be let go by the Koch sponsored vet groups he was put in charge of.
The New Yorker: Pete Hegseth forced out of veterans’ advocacy groups over misconduct allegations
I mean because he didn't have enough regard for the country or respect for those who serve it in the military to decline trump's offer of running the DoD. A vital agency he has no business leading.
