If an investigator believes that a child is at imminent risk of harm they do have the authority to remove him, but evidence must be presented in court soon after. What is proof? In these cases it is a " preponderance of evidence" A lower standard than " beyond a reasonable doubt " used in criminal cases but it is still evidence. How the **** are they to find evidence unless they investigate?

She was tired of sitting around the hospital where they weren't doing anything anyway (because there is nothing that they can do for a common cold) so she left.
