As an Independent, I'd like to invite the Democrats here to "get real" regarding the Trump Presidency. While Trump's 45%+ approval number is no cause for celebration, all the reports of the Trump Presidency imploding is simply wishful thinking.

The left wing has an opportunity to make some solid gains on Trump and the GOP right now, but they've given the voting public no reason vote Democrat. Bill Clinton once said: "Getting Democrats to agree on a course of action is like herding cats" The left-wing collation of environmentalists, racial and sexual minority advocates, NATO supporters, and organized labor groups can't seem to rally around the one cause that will help them. THE ECONOMY. Show you can fix it, and you get back into power, fail to do so, and you won't - It's that simple.

Those are the facts Jack - Just the facts! :45:

Yep. There are several issues that will cling to the Dems for a long time, especially on the cultural issue side, and they have to be overcome. That doesn't happen overnight, but at LEAST they could TRY.

The choices we have right now are just terrible. But that's our own fault.

Yes, at a time of reflection after their November losses, when democrat voters told the party they wanted the party to move more toward the middle, democrats decided the course of action needed was to move more toward the left extremes.

And, yes again, the democrat party has always wanted to please absolutley everyone, which is impossible. So, they wind up pleasing no one.
