Dear Democrats - Trump is not as popular as he claims. His gyrating tariffs that change almost weekly, heavy handed actions in Los Angeles, the massive job creation he promised has not materialized, and his treatment of our European and Canadian allies as inferiors have angered many in this country. Despite all this, he remains more popular than anyone in the left wing - and why?

Because you haven't given the voters a reason to vote for you.

All you folks on the left have done for the last 16 months is snivel about Trump and how "mean" he is to certain groups, coddle every racial and sexual minority in the country, frame every working-class white man as a racist, sexist goon, and fail to deliver on your promise to pay down our national debt - Hardly an impressive resume!

If you folks on the left want to win again, I would highly suggest you start reaching out to all those working-class white men you've disrespected, mending a few fences with them and make them feel more accepted in your party, stop highlighting racial and sexual minorities as your poster boys and girls, attack Trump on the economic issues he's failed to deliver on, and (for the 1st time since Bill Clintons administration) start paying down that national debt.

The Democrats can win again, but they're going to have to take a long, hard look at what they're trying to sell the American people, because right now, the voters aren't buying it!

Well even when biden lost he received more total votes than Trump in both elections

Obviously Biden lost the electoral college requirement in the 2nd election and won it on the 1st election attempt

Just because Trump won does not mean anything other than the electoral college did what it was conceived to do

give those small states a voice and the obvious underdog a chance!

Thus we can see the problem with the electoral college as it just gives republicans a shot at the top position.

I just had this conversation last night with a Democratic friend of mine. As an Independent I voted for Trump. I don't care for a few of things Trump has done in his second term. I could be talked into a vote for Democrats in 2028. But so far the Democratic Party has done absolutely nothing to win my vote.

Meh, for the most part I've been getting what I voted for.....The first time in decades, even more so than Trump's first term when he listened to the likes of The Turtle and the Federalist Society way to much.

The dems, well they have zero to offer except misery for the middle class (what's left of us after four miserable years of FJB) and I don't see that trend changing at all given the way they are currently organized toward the extreme left.

They hate anyone in their party that even makes squeaking noises about moderation.
