Although , seriously speaking, the Democrats would do well to recruit John Kasich to switch parties and to lead them in 2020. Kasich is really afflicted with Trump Hate but could also help bring the party back toward the center.

Polishprince's moderate, centrist line of thinking with Kasich seems to be the worst case scenario for the conservative element (such as myself) within the GOP & the most deleterious to Trump's legacy and historical accomplishment (and a halt to SCOTUS future noms)! Historically the GOP has tried to bring spoons to a knife fight and placate the liberal progressives, only to have them turn against them in the end.

On the bright side, the Dems seem so rabidly progressive in their ideologies, at this point, that it is unlikely that they would gather en masse behind a 'Joe Mansion' or 'Kasich' - esque, centrist candidate, lol.
